Mentoring for Effective Teaching™ (MET) online program
Terms and Conditions
The legal agreement below governs your usage of the Mentoring for Effective Teaching™ (MET) online program. To agree to these terms, click "agree." if you do not agree to these terms, do not click "agree," and do not use the MET online program.
In proceeding to engage with the Mentoring for Effective Teaching™ online program, you accept the following terms and conditions. As a participant in the program, you agree to the terms and conditions, if you do not agree then you must not proceed to use the website.
- The Mentoring for Effective Teaching™ program (in all forms, including online) remains the intellectual property of Dr Suzanne Hudson All copyright and intellectual property are reserved.
- You must be over the age of 18 to register into the MET online program.
- Payment for engaging with the Mentoring for Effective Teaching™ online program (herein known as MET online) allows three-month access. During which time, you may enter the MET online site to engage with materials and complete the associated activities.
- When you register with the MET online program, you will choose (or we will provide you with) a user ID and password for your personal access.
- You must not allow any other person access to the MET online program and notify drsuzannehudson@gmail.com if any unauthorised access to the MET online website has occurred.
- When the three-month access period lapses, you will no longer have access, unless you pay for an additional three months.
- There will be no refunds if access period (three months from registering) has expired.
- All activities would need to be completed within the three-month period. There will be a two-week extension period provided if a participant is required to re-submit work. The results of the assessment after this first re-submission will be final. That is, there will be one re-submission opportunity only.
- You may print and download from the MET online website for your own learning purposes. These materials are not to be shared with others; however you can use the materials for your own work practices. For instance, you may use the tools for feedback and reflection with your mentees (i.e., for mentoring early-career teachers, new teachers and peers).
- Acceptable use of the website includes using the website in the way it was intended. You may not damage or harm material on the website.
- You must use MET Facebook in alignment with Facebook terms and conditions (see https://www.facebook.com/policies). This includes no harmful usage (e.g., abusive language, uploading material that is offensive, illegal, unlawful or fraudulent usage).
- You may not use materials from the MET online website for profit making purposes.
- You may not republish material from the MET online website.
- You must not show the material on the MET online website to the public, nor sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute any material from the website.
- You may show the MET model on any website, as long as it has "Hudson's Mentoring Model" above or below the model.
- We may suspend, edit or cancel your account in our sole discretion without notice.
- Any work (e.g., assessment) you submit through the MET online website, you grant us irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free usage to use, reproduce, adapt and/or publish for the development of the Mentoring for Effective Teaching™ programs (both online and face-t0-face delivery).
- The content of your work (e.g., assessment) must comply with conditions (as indicated by the Facebook terms and conditions). For instance, no libelous, obscene, indecent, blasphemous or malicious material must be submitted. In addition, it is important not to infringe copyright.
- We do not guarantee, warrant or represent the accuracy of information on the MET online website or that the services will remain available.
- We reserve the right to discontinue the MET online website at our discretion. We will not be liable to you in respect to any losses or resource damage.
- You have the right to file a formal complaint with us if appropriate (drsuzannehudson@gmail.com).
- If you have purchased a periodic licence to use MET online, the following applies:
- You will have the right to use the licence within your constituency for which the licence was purchased (e.g., if it is a state or territory licence it can only be used within that state or territory)
- You can sell, rent or sub-licence the MET Online website usage to those within your own constituency.
- You may use material from the MET Online website for commercial purposes within your own constituency for which the licence was purchased.
